CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed organisation to recruit a Tax Manager into a well-established group finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified tax professional looking to step into a broad, visible role within a dynamic and evolving business, offering genuine exposure to senior stakeholders and future progression.
Working closely with the Group Head of Tax & Treasury, you’ll play a key role across tax compliance, reporting and project work, supporting the wider business as it continues to grow across the UK and Europe.
What will the Tax Manager role involve?
- Preparation and review of UK corporation tax returns and oversight of outsourced compliance
- Supporting group tax reporting under IFRS / UK GAAP
- Involvement in a variety of tax projects, including transfer pricing, R&D and BEPS-related work
- Supporting tax governance, risk and policy documentation
- Working with external advisers and internal stakeholders across the business
- Assisting with wider tax matters including employment taxes and VAT
Suitable Candidate for the Tax Manager vacancy:
- ACA / CTA qualified (or equivalent)
- Experience gained in practice or in-house, ideally within a complex or fast-paced environment
- Strong technical grounding in UK corporate tax
- Comfortable working across multiple workstreams with competing priorities
- Confident communicator, able to build effective relationships across finance and the wider business
