What will the Bookkeeper role involve?
- Managing bookkeeping for a varied portfolio of clients, ensuring records are accurate, up to date and compliant
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns and CIS returns across a range of industries
- Reviewing client bookkeeping records and making necessary adjustments ahead of submission deadlines
- Supporting clients with cloud-based accounting software, primarily QuickBooks and Xero
- Providing guidance and practical support to help clients get the most from their bookkeeping processes
- Contributing to a high-quality client experience through proactive communication and attention to detail
Suitable Candidate for the Bookkeeper vacancy:
- Previous bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice or bookkeeping environment
- Strong working knowledge of VAT, CIS, QuickBooks and Xero
- Confident working independently and managing multiple priorities effectively
