CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be supporting a successful manufacturing business in Chichester, West Sussex with the recruitment of a permanent Finance Manager. This role blends day-to-day financial control with hands-on ownership of stock, costing and monthly reporting. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will support forecasting, strengthen processes and act as a key link between finance and operations, ensuring information is accurate, timely and meaningful for decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management reporting, including sales, margin and supporting analysis.
- Maintain up-to-date costing models and monthly cost of sales valuations.
- Review inventory movements, WIP and stock trends, identifying discrepancies and risks.
- Support cycle-counting activity and build strong relationships with operational teams.
- Assist with month-end close, group submissions, forecasting and annual budget cycles.
- Contribute to process improvements and support ongoing development of the finance function.
- Provide flexible support across the wider team as required.
Qualifications
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (AAT, CIMA or ACCA) with strong manufacturing exposure.
- Confident working with ERP systems and Excel.
- Strong understanding of stock, costing and foreign currency impacts.
- Collaborative, proactive and comfortable working closely with operational colleagues.
- Well organised with a continuous improvement mindset.
