We are partnering with a long established construction business to recruit a dedicated Bookkeeper to join their friendly finance team in Chichester, West Sussex. Supporting three entities within the group, this role sits at the heart of a busy, growing business with an annual turnover of around £15m. You will be working closely with the Finance Director contributing to the smooth running of the day to day finances. What will the Bookkeeper role involve?
- Managing daily bookkeeping activities across three companies, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Entering invoices, receipts and payments, maintaining well organised financial records.
- Undertaking bank reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies.
- Supporting credit control activity and supplier liaison.
- Processing payroll and CIS for site based teams.
- Handling employee expense claims and related queries.
- Working closely with the Finance Director on ad hoc tasks and month end preparation.
- Ensuring compliance with internal processes and sector specific requirements.
