What will the Capital Accountant role involve?
- Lead capital accounting, fixed asset management and IFRS 16 reporting, ensuring accuracy across a significant Property, Plant & Equipment portfolio.
- Maintain robust financial controls, governance and accounting processes, delivering high-quality financial reporting and compliance.
- Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to coordinate information, support forecasting and provide meaningful financial insight.
- Present actual and forecast performance to senior leadership, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.
Suitable Candidate for the Capital Accountant vacancy:
- A recognised accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in financial accounting.
