Highly successful independent and innovative Manufacturing Group based in Chichester, West Sussex, has an opportunity for an Assistant Accountant on an initial 3 month fixed term contract to assist with the compliance and accurate monthly financial reporting to support the business on their continual expansion and growth.
What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?
Reporting to the Financial Accountant the key responsibilities are as follows:

Assist with the production of month end reporting including journal preparations and balance sheet reconciliations;

Supporting the preparation of the statutory accounts including acting as key liaison with external auditors;

Management of the banking facilities, including managing ad hoc payments and assisting with preparation of periodic cashflows.
Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant opportunity

Studying towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA or be qualified by experience with a proven track record of working in a similar position ideally within a fast-paced environment;

Strong Excel skills including V Looks & Sum Ifs;
