What the Finance Manager role will involve:
- Full ownership of monthly management accounts, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and weekly cashflow reporting.
- Cost accounting across materials, labour and overheads - maintaining costing models, analysing margins and identifying savings across manufacturing operations.
- Overseeing inventory accounting, stock valuation, reconciliation and internal controls.
- Acting as a true business partner to production, procurement and operations — supporting pricing decisions, CapEx appraisals and commercial strategy.
- Driving process improvement and reporting automation as the finance function grows.
The suitable Finance Manager candidate:
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with solid experience in a manufacturing or product-led environment highly desirable.
- Strong technical grounding in cost accounting, stock management and management reporting would be ideal.
- Commercially minded and hands-on.
