CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be supporting our Weymouth, Dorset client who is currently in need of a Payroll Assistant to join their team.
As Payroll Assistant you will be supporting in the day-to-day processing of weekly and monthly payroll ensuring all employees details are up to date. You will be working closely with the Payroll Manager and in a small team of payroll specialists.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known local business, to be a fundamental part of their close-knit finance team.
What will the Payroll Assistant role involve?
- Collate weekly and monthly payroll data from attendance systems
- Amend overtime and shift patterns on payroll
- Calculate complex elements of the payroll accurately
- PAYE, SSP, SMP calculations
- Up to date with all payroll legislation and HMRC processes
- Payroll reports for management meetings
Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Assistant vacancy:
- Experience working in a similar position, with good understanding of collating payroll
- Experience working to strict deadlines
- Confident excel user
