What will the Management Accountant role involve?
- Managing cost accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across different stock categories.
- Conducting stock reconciliations, analysing trends, and investigating discrepancies to uphold data integrity.
- Partnering with operational teams to optimise inventory valuation and control procedures.
- Supporting reporting, forecasting, and month-end closing activities related to inventory.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing inventory accuracy and efficiency.
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy
- Experience in a manufacturing, inventory with a good understanding of costings and WIP management.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency and experience with ERP systems, ideally Business Central.
- A professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or relevant experience.
- Confident communicator with outstanding relationship-building abilities.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach towards process improvements and problem solving.
