What will the Financial Accountant role involve?
- Preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheets
- Supporting month-end close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany accounting
- Maintaining and reconciling the fixed asset register and assisting with year-end and external audit requirements
- Producing financial analysis and supporting management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Working closely with colleagues across the business to improve reporting processes, controls, and data accuracy
Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accountant vacancy:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with a strong financial accounting background. Will also consider part-qualified or QBE with strong technical accounting experience
- Strong understanding of month-end processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems
- Well-organised, analytical, and able to communicate financial information clearly to a range of stakeholders
- A proactive and collaborative approach with a willingness to learn and develop
