This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex, end-to-end logistics projects involving multimodal transport, heavy lift, breakbulk and out-of-gauge cargo, supporting global movements across road, sea and air.

You will play a key role in delivering operational excellence, ensuring shipments are planned, coordinated and executed safely, efficiently and on time while providing first-class customer service throughout.

What are you going to do?

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will coordinate the full lifecycle of project shipments, including import, export and cross-trade movements. You’ll be responsible for order acceptance, file opening, planning and scheduling transport solutions, arranging collections and bookings, and coordinating closely with overseas offices, carriers and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant and on-time delivery.

You will act as a key point of contact for customers, providing regular track and trace updates, arrival notifications and handling enquiries, exceptions and urgent deliveries professionally. The role also involves liaising with customs partners, managing subcontractor performance, supporting the sales team with quotations and operational input, and ensuring operational systems and processes are followed correctly.

This role suits someone with experience in projects in freight forwarding, ideally with exposure to out-of-gauge, breakbulk or heavy-lift cargo, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering operational excellence and outstanding customer service.

What are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate freight forwarding experience working in a multimodal logistics environment (across air, road and sea) ideally within project logistics and have a solid understanding of global transport logistics. You will need to be an exceptional communicator through all forms of communication, be organised and able to work as part of a team and take a leading role where necessary but also be comfortable working alone and able to act on your own initiative.
