CEVA Logistics is looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to support the smooth day‑to‑day running of this fast‑paced, 24/7 contract logistics environment. You will lead warehouse operations, coordinate teams, ensure health and safety standards are met, and deliver service that exceeds customer expectations. This is a hands‑on leadership role at the heart of a growing and dynamic site.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing daily warehouse activities, making sure tasks are allocated correctly and completed to a high standard while meeting KPIs.
- Lead and coordinate teams of warehouse operatives, ensuring colleagues are trained, motivated, and working safely at all times.
- Promote a strong health and safety culture, manage attendance and performance, lead shift briefs, and ensure incidents are followed up appropriately.
- Communicate effectively across the site, plan and utilise labour efficiently, resolve operational issues, and help drive continuous improvement across efficiency, safety, quality, and environmental impact.
REQUIREMENTS
- Confident and capable warehouse leader with experience coordinating and leading teams within a logistics or warehousing environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, KPIs, and performance management, alongside excellent IT skills and experience using warehouse management systems.
- Effective communicator, organised, adaptable, and able to manage workloads in a busy operation.
- Flexible, hands‑on approach and a genuine desire to develop both yourself and your team are essential.
