Your role

Join our team in Bristol as a Driver Apprentice. You will gain both a Class 1 and Class 2 license alongside your driver CPC. You will also learn valuable life skills to help you with your future career within Transport and Logistics.

What are you going to do?

Whilst starting up as a driver, you will be paired up with a more experienced team member who will help you develop a further understanding of the job responsibilities and expectations. You will first complete your Class 2 license and work your way up to earning your Class 1 license.

You will work as part of the contract dedicated to customer deliveries and ensure goods are delivered to the correct locations with accurate completion of associated paperwork. You will also be responsible for ensuring daily vehicle checks are carried out and any defects are reported and remedied ensuring full compliance.

What are we looking for?

In order to qualify for apprenticeship funding, applicants must have resided in the UK for more than 3 consecutive years. You also must fit the following criteria:

  • Must hold a full UK Driving License
  • No points on your license
  • Flexibility when it comes to shift work
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and learn
  • Grades C/4 or above in Maths and English is desirable but not essential. If you do not currently have the required grades you’ll work towards acquiring these as part of your apprenticeship.
