We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager in technology implementation to join our team covering the United Kingdom and Ireland. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing digital projects and have a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes. This role demands excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
The Technology Project Manager is responsible for fostering strong deliveries between the business units and the Technology Department and plays a crucial role in tightening the gap between the business and technical teams within an organization ensuring that the organization's digital initiatives are delivered as per the value identified.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES- Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, milestones, timelines, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability throughout the agencies in scope.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management. Provide regular project updates and manage expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality.
- Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources, including personnel, technology, and budget.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation and systems, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the progress of digital initiatives and their impact on business performance.
- Demonstrable experience in managing technical projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of technology project management, product development, and emerging technologies.
- Knowledge in supply chain management would be advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is a plus.
