Required for this luxury DMC based in the Midlands. They are ideally looking for an experienced operations executive from the travel industry but are open to other industries. Office based, hybrid or mainly home based is an option after training. Salary up to £33,000 plus up to 2 months salary bonus, 22 days holidays, pension, travel discounts etc.
Operations executive duties:
- Managing the clients booking once payment has been taken by the sales team
- Booking accommodation, tour guides, transportation, attractions, restaurants, and experiences
- With great accuracy inputting travel details
- Providing end to end client support, before, during and after the trip
- Proactively communicating with the client or the US travel agent who introduced them throughout their trip
- Spotting problems before they become client facing, always thinking one step ahead
- Negotiate favourable terms with the companies partners
- Manage your own client trips, dealing with emergency situations when they arise
- Handling customer complaints
Operations executive skills required:
- Ideally you will have worked in the travel industry in a high pressurised operations role, but they are open to similar roles in other industries
- Passion for the UK
- Attention to detail
- Strong negotiating skills
- Very strong customer service skills
- Comfortable using AI tools
Additional information:
- After 4 weeks training, accommodation and transport paid for if you are not local
- They are open to office based with Fridays working from home and homebased with a trip to the office every couple of weeks for a day
