Corporate Travel Consultant
North East England (commutable to Newcastle)
Monday – Friday Office Based
Up to £30,000 + Team Incentives + Benefits
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well-established corporate travel company in the North East. We’re looking for an experienced GDS-trained Travel Consultant, whether you’re currently working in Business Travel or coming from a Leisure Travel background and ready to step into corporate travel. If you have strong airfares knowledge and solid GDS experience, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a portfolio of small to mid-sized corporate accounts
- Booking net and published airfares using a GDS (Galileo, Sabre or Amadeus)
- Arranging hotels, car hire, and providing visa and currency advice
- Finding the most cost-effective and policy-compliant travel solutions
- Working towards team sales and service targets
What we’re looking for:
- Essential: Working knowledge of a GDS (Galileo, Sabre or Amadeus)
- Experience in business travel or leisure travel reservations
- Strong fares knowledge (net and/or published)
- Excellent customer service skills
- A team-focused, proactive approach
