A leading global Travel Management Company (TMC) is looking for an experienced Business Travel Consultant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with working Galileo or Sabre or Amadeus skills and previous business travel experience to take the next step in their career. Based from home, or Scotland you will earn a salary up to £32,000 DOE plus excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Manage worldwide travel bookings for a number of business travel clients, using a GDS either Sabre, Galileo or Amadeus
  • Arrange flights, car hire, rail, and hotel reservations in line with client travel policies
  • Offer the most cost-effective and convenient travel solutions
  • Handle ticketing, reissues, and other administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant is essential
  • Strong GDS knowledge is a must
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a homebased role if you want to work from home

Additional BTC info

  • Small shift pattern between 8.30am – 6.30pm Monday to Friday schedule – no weekends!
  • Fully homeworking or hybrid or officed based (the latter for Scottish candidates)
  • Excellent benefits on offer starting at 25 days holiday, plus private health insurance cover amongst many more
  • Training for 3 weeks
