Senior Recruitment Consultant at C&M Travel Recruitment

Our client, a well-established tour operator, is seeking a Sales Team Leader to oversee a team of sales experts as well as nurturing trade relationships and driving holiday sales. This is a full time role on a hybrid basis with a salary of £30,000 plus commission OTE approx £38,000.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the daily operations of the Sales Team
  • Coach and mentor team members to achieve targets and deliver outstanding service
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents and suppliers
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and inform strategy
  • Act as first point of escalation for customer service issues
  • Sell holidays across our beach and ski programmes via phone, email, and web chat
  • Collaborate with commercial and flight teams to optimise occupancy and flight loads
  • Ensure every client receives an exceptional, on‑brand experience
  • Support other departments as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience supervising a sales team
  • Strong background in sales and customer service (phone and face‑to‑face)
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and time‑management skills
  • Motivated, resilient, and solution‑focused
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
