Job Description
Sales Manager, Travel Industry, Near Swindon, £50k + Bonus & Benefits. An excellent opportunity to join this fast pace, high-growth, yet well-established business that specialise in selling both touring and cruise holidays.
Sales Manager Responsibilities
- Achieve company sales KPI’s through the successful conversion of enquiries.
- Prepare, deliver and motivate sales staff for the day ahead ensuring communication of key messages.
- Ensuring a prompt response to inbound telephone and email enquiries.
- Compiling and analysing sales figures – daily, weekly and monthly.
- Collecting customer feedback and market research.
- Feedback to the Product Department on calls received and obstacles which you have had to overcome.
- Constantly evaluate success of the sales team through call listening and feedback on success and development areas.
- Monitoring individual’s and team’s QA, and error scores with an eye for accuracy.
- Report on staff attendance, absence, and completion of Return-to-Work meetings.
- Own pre and post sales related customer escalations in a timely, professional manner.
Sales Manager Skills Required
- The ideal candidate will have both call centre management and travel industry experience but candidates strong in one of these 2 areas also considered.
- Ensure highest level of service provided to deliver an exceptional customer journey.
- Proven track record in delivering sales results to company KPI’s.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Be able to demonstrate and analyse open, sell and close processes in line with Company expectations and deliver sales structure coaching where needed.
- Embrace change when new strategies are introduced by the business.
- Always maintaining a high motivation and positive atmosphere within the sales office.
- A confident, resilient individual with a friendly, approachable personality.
- The ability to be flexible, decisive and quick-thinking.
- Self-motivated with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
- Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g. gross margin percentages and calculations.
Sales Manager Additional Details
- Salary of £50,000 per annum + company bonus
- Travel benefits, 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), private medical cover following 6month probation.
- PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN OFFICE BASED ROLE AND WILL INVOLVE COVERING A VARIETY OF SHIFTS INCLUDING 8AM-530PM, 10.45AM-7PM AND 11.45AM-8PM. IT WILL ALSO INCLUDE 2 OUT OF 3 WEEKENDS.
