Product Executive - Travel Industry
We are recruiting for an exciting Product Executive opportunity with a leading travel organisation. Supporting a large network of independent travel businesses and working closely with major cruise lines and travel suppliers, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded travel professional looking for a product & commercial role within a respected and influential organisation. Working within a collaborative commercial team, you will negotiate commercial agreements, support cruise trading performance and help deliver commercial initiatives across the wider business. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with cruise account management, supplier relationship or commercial experience within the travel industry looking to build on their sector expertise.
Product Executive - Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of cruise line and cruise supplier partners, ensuring strong engagement and commercial performance.
- Negotiate cruise commercial agreements, trading terms and promotional opportunities to maximise value and revenue.
- Lead the delivery of cruise focused commercial initiatives, working closely with cruise lines and internal stakeholders to drive cruise sales and engagement.
- Monitor cruise trading results, analyse performance data and identify opportunities to improve cruise commercial returns.
- Conduct regular cruise supplier reviews, forecasting and performance reporting, providing recommendations to support cruise business growth.
- Build strong relationships with key cruise industry stakeholders and represent the business at cruise line meetings, conferences and events.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver successful cruise campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide cruise commercial insight and support to help maximise opportunities for members and cruise supplier partners alike.
- Support wider commercial partnerships activity across other travel sectors as required.
Product Executive - Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience within a commercial, account management, supplier partnerships, business development or trading role within cruise, tour operations or wider travel industry.
- Cruise sector knowledge or experience advantageous but not a necessity.
- Proven ability to build and maintain successful relationships with travel suppliers.
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements and identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
- Excellent communication, relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Self motivated, proactive and passionate about the cruise and travel industry.
Product Executive - Additional Information:
- Salary of £35,000 plus benefits.
- Office based role in Surrey, Monday to Friday.
