Africa Travel Specialist required by an experiential tour operator who specialise in crafting immersive, positive-impact travel itineraries to Africa.
Lucrative Commission Structure creating annual earnings of £36/£37K ON TOP of your basic salary which for UK-based candidates will be £28K-£32K (dependent upon your experience level). This role is FULLY REMOTE and you can be based in many countries across the globe (being mindful of time zones). Plus work flexible hours that suit you (full-time).
Africa Specialist Responsibilities:- Curate bespoke private experiences in Africa for clients who are somewhat unbounded by tight financial budgets.
- Provide a truly unparalleled level of customer service.
- Implement a high level of creativity and a desire to get under the clients' skin in order to give them a truly personalised experience.
- Maintain commercial awareness and optimise revenue.
- Actively nurture supplier relationships and in so doing play a crucial part in the company's ongoing refinement and development of its product offering.
- Must have an insatiable passion for Africa, backed up with extensive first-hand travel experience there.
- Must have experience selling tailor-made, high-end Africa Holidays.
- Must be creative and imaginative.
- Must be a meticulous planner and a perfectionist.
- Must have a passion for providing exceptional service.
- Industry-leading salary.
- Fully Remote.
- Option of PAYE or Self-Employment, but with the same benefits as a permanent employee.
- 22 days holiday per year plus bank holidays (those of your home country).
- All commission paid upon customer booking, not departure date.
- Current team are split across UK, South Africa, Thailand, Uganda, New Zealand, Canada and Spain.
- Flexible hours (full-time, but choose when you work).
