Operations Director, Business Travel Sector, West London. A fantastic opportunity to join this medium sized, award winning, travel management company (TMC) with a superb culture and ambition to expand significantly in the years ahead.

This role will have around 4-5 direct reports with overall responsibility for a sizeable operations team across multiple sites (remote and office based) as well as a small technology team. This is s Senior Leadership role; responsible for building a world-class service platform that’s robust today and ready for tomorrow.

Operations Director Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic framework for operational excellence, workflow transformation and technology infrastructure as the business scales for the future.
  • Build high performing teams with a culture of accountability and data driven decision making.
  • Oversee service quality governance, ensuring SLA, KPI, and NPS targets are consistently exceeded.
  • Define performance frameworks and support HR with internal succession planning and development
  • Lead the technology infrastructure function, overseeing the companies security architecture and ensuring operational resilience.

Operations Director Skills Required

  • Significant operational leadership experience gained in a TMC / Business Travel or Travel Technology environment
  • Inspirational people leadership and communication skills
  • Experienced in leading transformations on automation, workflow design and technology integration.
  • Strong understanding of security, data governance, and operational infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge around travel technologies such as GDS, Online Booking Tools, Concur etc

  • A competitive package will be created and tailored towards the level of experience offered, to be discussed on application.
  • The role will mainly be office based in West London where the majority of this team are based, although occasional flexible working is agreeable and there will also be times when this person will visit teams in other offices.
