Our client, a tour operator specialising in educational school trips, is seeking an experienced School Travel Specialist to join their team. This role is Monday-Friday and either hybrid in Nottingham or fully remote and comes with a salary of up to £40,000 DOE plus commission.
School Travel Specialist responsibilities:
- Follow up on sales leads and generate new opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers
- Prepare costings and create bespoke quotes tailored to budgets and requirements
- Follow up quotations and close sales effectively
- Achieve personal revenue and margin sales targets
- Support and promote new product development, including travel to destinations for research
- Collaborate with the Tours Sales and Product Manager to identify new products and markets
School Travel Specialist skills required:
- Previous sales experience in the outbound school trips sector
- Strong commercial awareness and proven sales skills
- Excellent team player with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks, remain resilient, and handle pressure calmly
Additional information:
- Salary up to £40k DOE plus commission
