This fabulous award winning adventure travel company are looking for an experienced Long Haul Travel Specialist to join their fun, friendly team of experts. You will specialise in building multi-sector tailor-made itineraries to long haul destinations.
Competitive salary based on experience, from £35k up to £39k basic depending on experience, (OTE £45k+ in first year) with structured salary uplift scheme based on performance. Flexible hybrid working after probation, relaxed office, private healthcare, fam trips and annual travel allowance!
Role & Responsibilities:
- Tailor-make dream trips for customers, incorporating multi-stop flight itineraries, accommodation, adventure tours and more.
- Provide the customer with expert advice on routings and destinations.
- Utilise Amadeus GDS to book multi sector itineraries.
- Work towards and achieve revenue targets.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Must have experience of working as a travel specialist and booking long haul multi sector trips preferably using Amadeus or Galileo / Sabre.
- Strong long haul destination knowledge gained from selling and personal travelling experience.
- Multi-sector fare building knowledge would be an advantage.
- Passion for adventure travel.
- Experience working to monthly sales targets.
Key Benefits:
- Basic salary of £35k to £39k dependent on experience, plus structured salary uplift scheme according to sales achieved.
- Lucrative bonus structure - paid biannually, OTE of £45k in first year.
- Monday to Friday shifts from 8 to 5.30. Saturdays only worked in January on a rota basis.
- Office based initially, with hybrid working after successful completion of probationary period, flexible with 1 to 2 days in the office.
