Latin America Travel Designer. Luxury Private Travel Company are looking for an experienced candidate, with a great love and an extensive knowledge of Latin America, to join their friendly team of travel enthusiasts. You will be empathetic and inquisitive, and will harness these qualities to form a deep understanding of your customers; enabling you to craft highly personalised holidays to countries such as: Uruguay, Guatemala, Patagonia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Belize, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Panama, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Brazil, Antarctica, Galápagos.

Basic Salary : £34,000 plus generous commission structure of £50,000 – £90,000 (first 7 months includes a commission top-up to ensure you earn minimum £47,000 pro rata while you’re adjusting to the change of employer (this figure is flexible, potentially higher, on a case by case basis)

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in luxury tailor-made tour operations (you do not need to have previously specialised in Latin America)

Interest in Latin America and extensive knowledge obtained from personal travels to the region

You value positive-impact, responsible, sustainable travel

Good listener and empathetic communicator, in relation to colleagues and customers)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The role:

Guest communication via video call, email and telephone; cultivating relationships and achieving a deep understanding and rapport with the client

Curation of bespoke travel itineraries which aim to immerse the client in the destination while following responsible travel practices

Competently close sales and manage pipeline, working effectively with the CRM and company systems and best practices

Deal with any operational situations in collaboration with wider team and external partners at the destinations.

Assist the marketing team with the production of editorial content

Build long-lasting, caring relationships with suppliers on the ground at the destinations
