UK and Ireland Specialist Destination Management company are looking for a new Groups Operations Executive to work on their team of experts constructing bespoke group experiences around the UK and Ireland for inbound travellers. 30-33K. Hybrid-working (first 6 months, 3-days office : 2 home, post-6 months 1-day office : 4 home).
Groups Operations Executive Responsibilities:
- Oversee every stage of group travel arrangements, beginning with the first request and continuing through after-travel communication.
- Create tailor-made journey plans incorporating hotels, experiences, restaurants, and ground logistics.
- Act as the primary liaison for prospective and returning customers, delivering a consistently high standard of client care from start to finish.
- Compile, review, and distribute itinerary paperwork to travel partners promptly, maintaining precision and thoroughness.
- Arrange and negotiate reservations aligned with planned programmes, securing optimal pricing and contractual terms across services such as hotels, transport, tour leaders, eateries, and attractions.
- Produce invoices for customers and verify incoming charges from suppliers and partners.
- Resolution of issues and navigation of operational challenges.
Groups Operations Executive Skills and Experience:
- Travel Industry Experience required.
- Highly organised and meticulous.
- Strong at Relationship building with suppliers and partners.
- High standard of written and spoken English.
- Prior knowledge of UK and Ireland Travel product is not required as training will be given.
