Aftersales customer services agent - Required for this well-known travel company based in North London. They are looking for an experienced travel person ideally with GDS knowledge to work in this busy aftersales team. They will pay up to £28,000 + up to £5,000 commission and benefits.

Aftersales customer service agents duties:

  • To answer all calls in a courteous and professional manner within the departmental standards.
  • To deal with all telephone and email queries post reservation and general queries.
  • To amend or cancel reservations as a result of incoming enquiries, including amending dates, upgrading tickets, route changes, name changes, refunds and seat/meal requests.
  • To amend hotel, car hire and transfer reservations.
  • To action ETA’s (visas), API’s, Mobility Forms within set timeframes.
  • To work to set targets and ensure efficient customer care handling.
  • Ability to make decisions in a pressurised environment.
  • Computer literate – to be able to use a variety of applications including GDS (Galileo), Outlook and possibly Word/Excel.

Aftersales customer service agents skills required:

  • Travel industry experience is a must within a sales, customer service or administration team.
  • Ideally GDS trained, Galileo would be a major advantage.

Additional information: One in three Saturdays with a day off during the week.
