Head of HR, Travel Sector, West London. A unique and incredibly exciting \’greenfield\’ opportunity to be the first HR professional to join this medium sized, award winning travel company with a superb culture and ambition to expand significantly in the years ahead.
The purpose of this role will be to design and deliver the people strategy around how they attract, develop, and engage exceptional talent as they scale.
Head of HR Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the people strategy in line with business objectives.
- Be the trusted advisor to the board on all matters people related
- Champion initiatives that promote performance, engagement and inclusion.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation.
- Lead on any employee relations casework
- Learning & Development such as the implementation of performance frameworks, development programmes and succession planning.
- Developing the employer brand and talent attraction strategy.
- Advising on reward, recognition and technology that may enhance the HR functions capabilities.
Head of Human Resources Skills Required
- A generalist HR background within the service sector (travel would be an added bonus) with experience in scaling businesses.
- Expert knowledge of UK employment legislation and experience managing ER casework.
- Commercially minded, forwards thinking and strategic leadership experience
- Passionate about culture, diversity and creating a workplace that people want to be in.
- CIPD qualified (Level 7 desirable).
Head of Human Resources Additional Details
- A competitive package will be created and tailored towards the level of experience offered, to be discussed on application.
- Some degree of flexible working is agreeable, although a strong presence in the West London head office as well as occasional visits to other smaller sites in the UK will be required to really shape and drive the company culture.
