Group Travel Manager – Destination Management Company, West London, c£50k. An excellent opportunity to join this well established DMC that provide bespoke travel solutions for groups of leisure and corporate (MICE) travellers inbound to Europe.

Group Travel Manager Responsibilities
Leading a team of around 6 people within sales and operations
Account managing, growing and retaining a portfolio of clients from all around the world
Convert leads and enquiries into confirmed bookings to drive new sales.
Creating tailored and bespoke travel itineraries in line with client requirements featuring accommodation venues, transport, escorted tours and experience across Europe.
Negotiating terms and conditions with b2b agents / partners
Provide on tour support for groups during office hours and part of a team that shares some out of hours support.
Group Travel Manager Skills Required
Strong experience of creating and delivering group travel itineraries across Europe, preferably for a DMC but similar wholesale and tour operating experience is also of interest.
Experience in both sales and operations within the travel industry.
Experience leading and developing a small team
Experience managing budgets
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Additional European languages an advantage but not essential
During high season there may bne occasional requirements to work outside the core \”9-5\” hours to meet business needs.
Group Travel Manager Additional Details
A basic salary in the region of £50,000 per annum depending on experience
This is an office based role in West London. Post probation there is the option to work remotely one day a week
