Our client, a well-established tour operator, is seeking a Sales Team Leader to oversee a team of sales experts as well as nurturing trade relationships and driving holiday sales. This is a full time role on a hybrid basis with a salary of £30,000 plus commission OTE approx £38,000.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the daily operations of the Sales Team
- Coach and mentor team members to achieve targets and deliver outstanding service
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents and suppliers
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and inform strategy
- Act as first point of escalation for customer service issues
- Sell holidays across our beach and ski programmes via phone, email, and web chat
- Collaborate with commercial and flight teams to optimise occupancy and flight loads
- Ensure every client receives an exceptional, on‑brand experience
- Support other departments as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience supervising a sales team
- Strong background in sales and customer service (phone and face‑to‑face)
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time‑management skills
- Motivated, resilient, and solution‑focused
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
