We are recruiting on behalf of a market-leading corporate travel management company, who are looking to appoint an ambitious and driven Business Development Manager to support continued growth across the UK. This role will be office or hybrid based in Brighton and offers a basic salary of £37,000 plus a generous uncapped bonus scheme, along with fantastic company benefits and the opportunity for future career progression.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate new corporate business through lead generation, including cold calling from an existing database
- Identify and engage key decision-makers within large organisations to drive new sales and account development
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular contact via phone, email, reporting, and marketing communications
- Attend client meetings in a professional and well-presented manner
- Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Act as a role model within the Business Development team by consistently achieving targets and KPIs
Business Development Manager Experience:
- Proven experience in Business Development, B2B sales, or lead generation
- Confident and professional telephone manner with strong rapport-building skills
- Experience dealing with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
