The predicted salary is between 30000 - 48000 £ per year.

Required for this luxury hotel group, an experienced BDM/Account manager to represent and grow awareness in the travel trade for their product. You will be covering Scotland. Salary up to £43k plus benefits.

Experience required:

  • BDM from the travel industry
  • Background within hotels or cruise is ideal
  • Contacts within the travel agency world

Business development manager duties:

  • 3 or 4 days on the road, visiting new and existing travel agencies to grow awareness of the company's brand and products
  • Training staff, agreeing new commercial terms, organising fam trips and attending numerous travel events and trade shows
  • Targeting 10 to 15 visits per week
  • Identifying new travel agents, concierge desks and luxury specialists
  • Analysing market trends and competitor activity
  • Providing monthly reports on sales performance

Skills required:

  • Experience within the travel industry, ideally targeting luxury travel agencies
  • Based in Scotland is a must
  • Ideally from a hotel or cruise background but open to other areas of travel
  • Clean UK driving license
  • Strong presenting skills
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Able to organise and attend fam trips
