Senior travel consultant with Groups, required to work for this corporate and business travel company based from home. Working in the groups and events department providing travel and logistics for clients. They are looking for an experienced groups travel consultant with strong Galileo skills and can work on multiple projects for a number of dedicated clients. Salary up to £43,000 + excellent benefits.

Senior travel consultant duties:

  • Using your complex and group flights experience you will assist with project work utilising Galileo.
  • Build relationships with key suppliers and clients.
  • Identify cost savings and commissionable rate opportunities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding the project/group needs whilst being able to prioritise your work.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work alongside the project Travel Manager to deliver results as a team.

Senior travel consultant skills required:

  • Business or corporate travel consultant experience from a groups or air planner for events role using Galileo.
  • Strong flights knowledge to include manual fare builds, ticketing and re-issues knowledge.
  • Superb attention to detail.
  • Team player and great communicator, someone who can think outside the box.

Other info:

  • Flexibility is required for this exciting role, as there will be overtime required on some occasions as events are coming together just before project completion.
