Required to work for this established sports travel specialist to help launch a new division. You will have a background in sports travel and strong business development experience. Salary up to £35,000 plus great bonus/commission scheme, benefits, and a massive opportunity to grow your own division.

Duties of a Business Development Manager:

  • Developing a new division for this already successful schools sports travel company.
  • Organising corporate UK days as well as padel holidays to mainly Spain and Portugal.
  • The product is already set up and ready to go; they just need a strong sales professional with a background in sports travel to get the word out and target corporates and racquet clubs to sell the product.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to gain the best commercial terms.

Skills required of a Business Development Manager:

  • Business development experience within sports travel.
  • Very strong telephone manner, presenting skills, and able to get proposals over the line.

Ideally one day a week in their North West office, but happy with a home-based person. Benefits include pension and 25 days holidays. The chance to own part of the business with time.
