Experience wise account management within airlines ideally, but they will look at an account management background working for a TMC, 1 day a week in their office in West London.
Airline corporate account manager's duties:
- To represent the Airline in a professional and knowledgeable way to travel trade partners and commercial companies (dedicated role)
- To increase revenue and market share on the airline route network
- To maintain current and secure new sales accounts
- To increase awareness of airline to the trade and public sectors
- To meet daily, weekly, annual targets set
Airline corporate account manager's skills required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Travel industry account management
- Existing relationships within the TMC and Corporate business would be an advantage
- Knowledge and proven success within the corporate market
- Knowledge of airline GDS and distribution channels
- Knowledge of airline fare structures
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint programmes
- Knowledge of general airline procedures
- Ability to interpret fare and ticketing rules
- Negotiating skills
- Strong presentation skills
