Business travel Consultant or Corporate travel Consultant required for a growing Travel Management company. Seeking an experienced business travel consultant with strong GDS knowledge of Sabre, Galileo or Amadeus to work on their emergency weekend team. Salary is £21,000 for 20 hours plus excellent benefits too.

Weekend Business travel consultant duties:

  • Dealing with a range of clients ranging from Banks, insurance companies to high profile and VIP clients both in the UK and overseas.
  • Assisting clients out of hours, sometimes in an emergency scenario.
  • Booking flights, car hire, rail and hotels using a GDS.
  • Problem solving, making amendments, date changes, re-issues.

Weekend Business travel consultant skills required:

  • Strong business travel consultant experience from either TMC, BTC or SBTC background.
  • Some experience of dealing with either OOH, emergency or Worldwide client enquiries.
  • Strong airfares knowledge with understanding of fares, reissues, refunds, changes and some ticketing.
  • GDS experience from either Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo.

We are looking for someone who would be happy to have weekends as their regular shifts as this role will cover both Saturday AND Sunday as well as a Wednesday evening. Hours are:

  • Wednesday - 6pm to midnight - no break - 6 hours
  • Saturday - 2pm - 10pm - 1 hour break - 7 hours
  • Sunday - 2pm - 10pm - 1 hour break - 7 hours

Working 20 hours each week. Salary is £21,000 for the 20 hours. Excellent benefits on offer to include pension, private healthcare and other benefits.

Please note: CVs will ONLY be considered if you already have Business Travel / Corporate Travel experience using a GDS.
