Hotel Implementation Specialist required for this expanding global booking platform company. The role will be supporting hotels and holiday parks with the implementation of the new booking platform and completing any in-house tasks within the business. This role is homebased but will require travel around the UK and Europe, onboarding new clients and completing face to face and virtual training on the system. This role offers a starting salary of £32,000 rising to £35,000 after probation period, plus car allowance up to £250 per month, along with other company benefits. This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked within the hotel or holiday park sector either in reservations, reception, or revenue management, with a good understanding of booking platforms / systems and rates management.
Responsibilities
- Advise the client on system best practices in preparation for the implementation
- Liaising with internal departments on any requests agreed within the contract to ensure timely delivery in line with agreed project plans
- Guide customers through a structured and detailed software installation and training program
- Conduct both in-person and remote training sessions to a wide audience covering all relevant departments both online and in customer locations throughout the UK and Europe
- Provide unrivalled customer support to the client base when not dealing with implementations
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English. Other European languages are desirable
- Self-motivated with the ability and drive to learn and work unsupervised
- Excellent customer service
- Previous experience within a hotel or holiday park at a supervisory level
- Great organisational skills
- Must have a driver's license and access to a car
- Previous experience of delivering customer training and technology implementations is highly desirable but not essential
- Knowledge and experience of hospitality technology and processes
