This is an exciting new opportunity to work with this super luxury train as a Senior Sous Chef. Working as number 2 to the Head Chef.
Senior Sous Chef, Responsibilities
Work alongside the Head Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff, assisting with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking
To be a senior part of culinary team for all operations both on and off board
Planning and directing of food preparation in kitchen
Assist with the planning of menu, tastings, spec sheets, allergen and costings
Senior Sous Chef, Skills Required
Previous experience as a Sous Chef looking to step up or a Senior Sous Chef
Experience within high-end luxury restaurant / hotel restaurants
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Senior Sous Chef, Additional Information
Paying £50-52K
Working full time hours
Completing prep work in Battersea
Work onboard the train which does day trips within the UK
