Villa Specialist
We are recruiting on behalf of a successful luxury villa holiday specialist, known for its handpicked portfolio of exceptional properties and its commitment to authentic, highly personalised service. They are looking for a dedicated and personable Villa Specialist with the travel industry experience and knowledge to turn a client's wish list into their perfect holiday.
Villa Specialist – Role & Responsibilities:
- Take full client ownership from first enquiry, throughout the entire booking and after sale process, building an excellent rapport and delivering exceptional service at every stage.
- Use your product and destination knowledge to shape tailored villa holidays, thinking creatively to offer the very best options and sell the full experience.
- Handle incoming calls, web enquiries and email requests promptly and efficiently, covering both new bookings and support for existing ones.
- Follow up every lead to convert as many enquiries as possible into confirmed bookings & aim to exceed agreed targets.
- Manage amendments, cancellations and additions accurately.
- Contact clients proactively ahead of travel to add extra touches, and afterwards to build loyalty and encourage repeat bookings.
- Maximise revenue by upselling flights, transfers and additional experiences such as private chefs, boat hire and excursions.
Villa Specialist – Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a villa specialist or travel sales role with experience of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation abilities.
- Well organised, with strong prioritisation and time management skills.
- Good worldwide destination knowledge
- Highly motivated, target driven and used to working under pressure in a seasonal business.
- Excellent attention to detail and a genuinely customer focused approach.
- A strong team player who stays calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of a European language is an advantage, though not essential.
Villa Specialist – Additional Information:
- Salary circa £30k basic plus OTE of £10k to £15k per year
- Hybrid working in central London office, 3 days per week in the office.
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 to 5.30 with Saturdays worked on a rota basis from 10 to 2 (3 to 4 per quarter)
- Willingness to work some evenings and weekends during peak periods.
