Africa Travel Specialist required for this award winning travel company specialising in high quality tailormade safaris to Southern and East Africa. This is a true specialist role requiring solid experience in selling Africa and personal travel experience across Africa. This is a remote role Monday to Friday with a base salary of up to £45,000 plus commission dependent on experience.
Africa Travel Specialist responsibilities:
- Advise travellers from first enquiry through to their return home.
- Design bespoke itineraries tailored precisely to each traveller’s interests, budget and style.
- Liaise directly with suppliers across Africa to secure availability and ensure seamless arrangements.
- Make and manage bookings with accuracy and care.
- Solve problems and remain responsible for every booking until the traveller returns home.
Africa Travel Specialist skills required:
- Significant experience designing and selling tailormade African holidays
- Extensive personal travel across Africa
- Strong consultative sales skills
- Excellent communication and organisational ability
- Confidence managing bookings end-to-end
- A genuine passion for Africa, its wildlife, cultures and landscapes
Additional information:
- Salary up to £45,000 plus comms
- Ideally 2 weeks training in London office
