This Luxury independent Asia specialist Tour Operator has an exciting new role for a more junior Tailor-made Travel Consultant who ideally has 2-3 years of travel sales experience with Asia knowledge. The position is office-based in South London.
Responsibilities:
- To put together and sell bespoke tours around South-East Asia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and the Maldives.
- To take 'ownership' of the entire holiday process from booking through to feedback.
- To book flights and all other travel arrangements with meticulous attention to detail.
- Contribute ideas for product development (you will be assigned a particular country or countries to focus on).
Skills Required:
- Previous 1-2 years travel sales experience, booking and tailor-making holidays.
- Knowledge of Asia, in particular Sri Lanka, Laos and/or Vietnam.
- Sales focused along with providing an excellent level of customer service.
- Extremely good telephone and e-mail manner.
Additional Information:
- Paying up to £33k - £36K + Quarterly individual sales bonus + Monthly team bonus + annual profit share bonus.
- Working Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.30 with 1 Saturday a month 09.30 - 16.00 (worked remotely).
- One 2-week familiarisation trip per year.
- 23 days holiday, plus your birthday off.
