An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an independent Retail travel agent as a Travel Consultant, based in the Basingstoke area. We are seeking an experienced Travel advisor who will be selling package holidays all over the world to customers, over the phone and face to face in a retail travel shop based in a lovely town environment. Salary is around £24500 depending on experience The successful candidate will be driven and worked in a travel sales role recently with UK Europe and worldwide package holiday destination knowledge. As a Retail Travel consultant you will: Sell holidays face to face and over the phone ranging from Mediterranean to long haul holidays Up sell additional extras and suggest those that complement the customers package Switch selling of sold out holidays Package together holidays to the clients needs offering a first class service to new and repeat clients Sell a full range of suitable travel products to include package, cruise, luxury and UK Retail Travel consultant Skills required: Travel sales experience working for a Travel company that sells holidays to the UK population Target driven and determination to succeed Excellent telephone manner with excellent customer service Experience of selling a wide range of tour operators and Cruise holidays targeted at the UK consumer Other info: Full time Working hours: 9am – 5pm Mon – Saturday No Sundays 20 days holiday allowance a year plus Bank holidays and a day off for your Birthday Educational\’ s each year Supplier Incentives go directly to you Commissions based on Store profit If you are interested, then please call Kelly on (phone number removed) or (phone number removed) and send your cv to and quote ref: KR59872
