This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic sales professional to make their mark within the corporate travel sector in joining a well-established travel management company. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, securing and growing new business relationships with prospective clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate travel market — from small enterprises to larger corporations.
  • Qualify prospective clients and manage your pipeline, turning leads into secured new business relationships.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records within the company's database, ensuring a clear view of pipeline activity.
  • Take ownership of the complete sales process — from initial qualification through to implementation.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored sales presentations, demonstrating your understanding of prospective clients’ travel needs alongside the range of services we provide.
  • Support the implementation team to enable a smooth delivery for new clients’ travel programmes.

Experience and Skills:

  • Previous experience in B2B sales within a corporate travel management business.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • IT competency and confidence working in a technology driven environment.
  • Flexibility to travel and visit clients around the UK.
  • Experience in building long-term relationships with clients and in securing profitable new business for the company.
  • Motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about delivering results.

Additional details:

  • A basic salary range of £45,000 - £50,000 per year + commission.
  • Pension + private healthcare.
  • Fully remote with travel to visit clients and attending industry events.
