Africa Specialist Travel Consultant. Africa Safari Company are looking for an individual, with a great passion and a desire to inspire others to explore the wilds of Africa. You will be an inquisitive listener and have a determination to perfect the small details as you will be crafting highly personalised experiences in Africa. Candidate Requirements: Deep passion for Africa and good knowledge obtained from your personal travels to the continent You value positive-impact, responsible, sustainable travel which benefits communities, environment and wildlife Attentive listener and empathetic communicator Open-minded and really keen to continuously learn Thrives solving problems and maintains calm under pressure Motivated and driven Excellent verbal and written communication skills The role: Guest communication via video call, email and telephone; cultivating relationships and achieving a deep understanding and rapport with the client Curation of bespoke travel itineraries which aim to immerse the client in the destination while following responsible travel practices Competently close sales and manage pipeline, working effectively with the CRM and company systems and best practices Deal with any operational situations in collaboration with wider team and external partners at the destinations. Build long-lasting, caring relationships with suppliers on the ground at the destinations Source exciting new Africa travel product Travel even more in Africa! Basic Salary : Circa 30K dependent upon experience plus generous commission. Working Hours : Monday β Friday. No weekends. 3 or 4 days in the office per week 1-2 from home.
