The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Responsible for the company PLC development, customer electrical installation service, customer electrical commissioning service and product liability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Technical:

  • Advanced process control (APC)
  • Distributed control systems (DCS)
  • Programmable logic controllers (PLC)
  • Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA)

Profile Requirements:

  • Designing electrical systems for new concepts.
  • Designing and writing PLC programs.
  • Taking concept system designs to provide a full functional design scope for control overview of our refiner conche system.
  • Designing of electrical schematics.
  • Creating bill of materials.
  • Layout and build the control cabinets, enclosures and operator stations.
  • Interconnecting the controls, switches and sensors to the controller.
  • Interconnecting the motors to the motor control.
  • Designing / writing PLC programs for a wide range of PLC's including Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi and Schneider.
  • Designing and building HMI screens for the above.
  • Communicating with PLC's, and other peripheral devices such as Inverter drives, Encoders, Temperature and pressure sensors and Weight Systems.
  • Using Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet, RS232/485 and other industrial communications.
  • Experience of Inventor 2018 3D computer aided design would be advantageous.
  • Experience of Microsoft Nav ERP system with CAD Connect would be advantageous.
  • Experience of EPLAN Electrical drawing package would be advantageous.
