Responsible for the company PLC development, customer electrical installation service, customer electrical commissioning service and product liability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Technical:
- Advanced process control (APC)
- Distributed control systems (DCS)
- Programmable logic controllers (PLC)
- Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA)
Profile Requirements:
- Designing electrical systems for new concepts.
- Designing and writing PLC programs.
- Taking concept system designs to provide a full functional design scope for control overview of our refiner conche system.
- Designing of electrical schematics.
- Creating bill of materials.
- Layout and build the control cabinets, enclosures and operator stations.
- Interconnecting the controls, switches and sensors to the controller.
- Interconnecting the motors to the motor control.
- Designing / writing PLC programs for a wide range of PLC's including Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi and Schneider.
- Designing and building HMI screens for the above.
- Communicating with PLC's, and other peripheral devices such as Inverter drives, Encoders, Temperature and pressure sensors and Weight Systems.
- Using Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet, RS232/485 and other industrial communications.
- Experience of Inventor 2018 3D computer aided design would be advantageous.
- Experience of Microsoft Nav ERP system with CAD Connect would be advantageous.
- Experience of EPLAN Electrical drawing package would be advantageous.
