Established Safari Company is looking for a new Sales Support Executive to join their small specialist team and provide administrative support in the production and execution of their tailormade journeys to Africa. A salary of 28K-35K is on offer dependent upon experience and both hybrid and fully remote working is possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Support sales colleagues across all stages of the client journey
  • Deliver consistently high standards of customer care
  • Check service availability and prepare quotations
  • Track booking deadlines and confirm arrangements
  • Finalise travel plans and secure all trip components
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the client portal and internal systems
  • Perform quality checks to ensure completeness
  • Identify opportunities for additional sales
  • Manage invoicing and process payments across platforms
  • Issue tickets and prepare clients ahead of departure
  • Coordinate with local partners to confirm services and resolve issues
  • Work with sales teams to handle requests and resolve problems throughout the trip lifecycle
  • Recommend improvements to systems and client experience
  • Arrange upgrades, confirm with suppliers, and ensure correct billing
  • Send pre-departure welcome packs
  • Manage post-trip feedback and share insights internally
  • Confirm special arrangements and key celebrations with accommodation providers
  • Provide out-of-hours assistance when required

Experience Required:

  • Experience working within a comparable role with the travel sector – essential
  • Strong knowledge of logistics on the ground in Africa - desirable

Benefits:

  • Working hours 9.00am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising a day per year worked to a maximum of 25
