Award-winning global airline. The aim of this role is to ignite dormant larger corporate and SME business partnerships as well as source, acquire and develop new businesses across the UK and Ireland. We are looking for a business development background from the travel industry with experience targeting corporates. Candidates may come from TMCs, airlines, car hire companies, or hotels. First 3 months in the office in West London, followed by 1 day a week in the office; candidates must live in the South‑East. Salary £35,000 to £42,000, Car Allowance around £3,800 and Home‑working allowance £1,800 plus a good bonus and benefits, most notably free flights on a large global network.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for acquiring and developing new corporate business leads from multiple channels including LinkedIn, internal database, trade events, contacts and referrals.
- Develop relationships and manage revenue and market share performance within a growing account portfolio within the UK and Ireland.
- Cold-call/email prospective clients, follow up with meetings online or in person.
- Monitor and analyse sales figures and trends.
Experience and Skills
- Must come from a business development position within the travel industry targeting corporates, be it a TMC, airline, hotel, or car hire.
- Must be able to work in the office for the first 3 months.
- Driving licence required.
