Business Development Executive / Manager required for this niche travel company looking to grow its UK market share and presence. We are seeking an experienced BDM/BDE from the leisure side of the travel industry with strong established relationships. You will work from home and also visit clients. The salary is around £38,000 plus a great bonus scheme and car or car allowance.
Business Development Manager / Executive Duties:
- The role is to spearhead growth in the UK market targeting tour operators, consortia, homeworking specialists and key trade partners.
- Increase brand awareness through sales calls, training, fam trips and trade events.
- Create and deliver engaging training sessions delivered face to face and online.
- Develop and deliver joint marketing campaigns.
- Represent the brand at consumer shows, trade shows, roadshows and industry networking events.
Business Development Manager / Executive Skills Required:
- Proven track record in business development, sales or account management in the UK leisure travel market, ideally in cruise.
- A natural networker with proven presentation skills.
- A background in delivering online and face to face training.
- Networks in place of relationships within the travel industry.
Additional Information:
- Car or car allowance, great bonus scheme, 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, life assurance and good pension.
