We are currently seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our established and friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, skilled individual looking for long-term, stable work. Our company has proudly held a social housing contract for over 20 years, providing a consistent pipeline of work and job security. There is no shortage of projects, so you'll be able to get stuck in straight away.
Role & Responsibilities
- Carrying out high-quality internal and external painting and decorating works within social housing properties
- Preparing surfaces to a professional standard, including filling, sanding, priming, and finishing
- Working in both occupied and void properties while maintaining a professional and respectful approach
- Completing work efficiently, safely, and to agreed timescales
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment at all times
- Communicating effectively with tenants, supervisors, and the wider team
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Painter & Decorator
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence desirable (but not essential)
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
