Description
We are seeking to appoint a farm manager at a North Herefordshire Large Mixed Farm. This Family business is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable farm manager with a passion for farming ready to oversee arable, livestock and various areas of the farm, lead a team and drive farm operations to success.
Duties
• Organize the planning and implementation of growing a variety of crops, cultivating and harvesting.
• Oversee the operation of farm machinery including tractors and harvesters.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage and support a team to ensure all tasks are carried out to a high standard.
• Manage budgets and resources.
• Work closely with the Livestock manager and Farm Office.
• Practical hands-on approach to management.
